The mission of the Palmer Ridge High School Knowledge Center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. Our goal is to increase student achievement through collaboration and the inclusion of information literacy skills. We also want to share the love of reading with the students, staff and the community of PRHS.
This mission is accomplished:
- by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats
- by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas
- by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

How many of the "100 Best Ever Teen Novels" have you read?
This list is from a NPR poll that had 75,220 people participate in by voting for their favorite young adult novels. Over 1200 titles were nominated for inclusion into the list. From these titles, a panel of judges narrowed the list down to the top 100 titles. Take part in the 2012-2013 Knowledge Center Reading Challenge by seeing how many of these books you can read this year. Check out the link below for the full list. If you have read any of the titles before, you may count them.
